The Point-to-Point Racing Company (PPRC) provides an administrative role to Point-to-Pointing, and is based in Northamptonshire. During the season it provides an entries service for approximately 180 racemeets. It checks and qualifies entries made, confirming race eligibility for all horses entered and allocating penalties as due.
Alongside this work, in association with Weatherbys Printing Services, it produces approximately 80-100 Point-to-Point race cards through the season, and with a team of race-readers based at each meeting supplies results for all meetings at the weekends, and uploads videos of those races, received from the team of on-course videographers.
It deals with the general administration of the Point-to-Points on behalf of the various meetings’ secretaries, who will then organise, promote and run their own Point-to-Point meetings local to where they are.
Through the season the PPRC also produces the weekly Loose Leaf Form Guide, a weekly e-ratings service, and keeps the online digital Planner up to date with any changes to upcoming meetings.
